How to get here

At Bern railway station, take the Neuengasse exit, turn left into Genfergasse, walk straight ahead until you reach Hodlerstrasse: you are directly in front of the Kunstmuseum Bern (approx. 10 minutes' walk from the station).

From Bern railway station

By bus

• Bus no. 20 direction Wankdorf station
• Bus no. 21 direction Bremgarten
• Bus No. 11 direction Neufeld P+R

Travel one stop to ‘Bollwerk’, turn right (as seen from the direction of travel) into Hodlerstrasse. Walk straight on for another 50 metres and you will be directly in front of the Kunstmuseum Bern.

From other directions

Take the bus or tram to the Bärenplatz stop:

• Bus no. 12 and 30
• Tram no. 6, 7, 8 or 9

Walk along Bärenplatz and then down Waisenhausplatz and turn left into Hodlerstrasse. After another 50 metres you will reach the museum.

Freeway exit Bern-Wankdorf, direction Zentrum, past the Bärengraben in the direction of Altstadt/Bahnhof until you reach the Metro Parking.

• Nearest car park: Metro Parking in Hodlerstrasse
• Disabled persons' transport: Next to the museum, behind the Metro Parking exit, there is a marked disabled parking space (50 m from the main entrance). Opposite the museum (on the opposite side of the road) there are 3 disabled parking spaces.
• Coach parking spaces: These are located directly along the road in front of the museum.
